Russian energy min to meet with Saudi Arabian minister this week

ASHGABAT, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak plans to meet with Saudi Arabian Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih and with Seyed Mohammad Hossein Adeli, secretary general of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), this week during the Russian Energy Week, which starts on Tuesday in Moscow, Novak told reporters on Monday.

“Tomorrow (I am having) a meeting with the GECF Secretary General Adeli. I will have many more meetings, including a meeting with the minister of Saudi Arabia,” he said.

“I will meet with ministers of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum on the fourth (of October). We will hold a ministerial meeting, and Russia chairs (the GECF). We have a lot of meetings.”

He said that he also plans to meet with Armenian Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan and with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto on Tuesday.
